Our Primary Services

Service 1: communication skills for professionals

With English as the primary language of business around the world, Internationally Educated Professionals (IEPs) need to have a strong basic set of language leadership skills in order to function and progress in their career.

And this is true regardless of the line of work and where they live.

Further, understanding the International Business Culture is an essential and often overlooked component of language training across the globe.

High functioning Internationally Educated Professionals have specific needs that must be addressed on an applied, individual and content-specific basis. We do that – live and online.

Service 2: Doctor of Business Administration

IVEK has partnered with KKJ International/AL Swiss Group for ongoing international education projects. The first step in this is our proposed partnering with one or more universities, globally, so that the university might offer the KKJ DBA program. IVEK is helping with the process, the course summaries, and related matters. Once this is in place, we expect to move to other KKJ – IVEK educational initiatives, such as a Masters degree in cybersecurity. We may forus in early days on the Americas, where IVEK has some history.  In fact, IVEK proposes we follow up on projects IVEK has had in Mexico, with some of our own programs, along with several SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) courses, Diplomas, and Certificates.

Service 3: ESL, Elementary, and High School

IVEK has owned and operated an ESL school, a high school, and has partnered with college programs. Our intention is to move, where it comes to high school to a fully online program. But we will include a model in which the courses can be delivered to gathered groups with a local “monitor”, while still being taught by our teachers in Toronto. We will, as we have in the past, deliver through the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) for full college and university readiness. Our ESL, in these Covid days, is offered in partnership with an online provider.

When it comes to the college, we will align it with the Scottish Qualifications Authority, with whom we have worked before. That way, we will be able to deliver Certificate and Diploma programs online. Details will be forthcoming.

Partners have asked us to be “on hold” until some international matters are ironed out. We are ready to go at a moment’s notice when that happens. Some college initiatives have of course been stalled at the initiative of government. Stay tuned.
